This week’s episode of The Lab is hosted by Dauphin. He is one of the colourful dj’s in the Dutch underground tech-house/techno scene. His specific taste of music can best be described as eclectic percussion with a melodic groove.

The last few years he performed in many clubs and at parties like Sensation Innerspace DeLuxe, Studio 80, All is One, Trammeland, The Endless Summer, House Generation, Floorplay and Club Plastik Mint (Belgrade).

The following two hours you will hear his live recorded opening set from July 2nd 2011 at Sensation Innerspace DeLuxe in Amsterdam ArenA. ID&T is the organiser of this international leading dance event.

De Afdeling is een nieuw uitgaansconcept in Amsterdam, dat diverse muziekgenres, dj’s en bezoekers bij elkaar brengt. De Afdeling biedt een platform voor opkomende artiesten in diverse genres. Verwacht elke twee maanden een nieuwe Afdeling. Elke keer een andere stijl.

De Afdeling is er voor artiesten en voor het publiek. Ook bezoekers kunnen invloed uitoefenen op de inhoud. Op aansporen van de organisatie zullen zij bijvoorbeeld het muziekgenre zelf kiezen of materiaal aanleveren voor een aftermovie. Goede ideeën en veelbelovende artiesten worden zo samengevoegd in een reguliere clubavond. 23 September trappen we af met Afdeling:Techno!

In deze uitzending van “Nachtlab Presents…” presenteren zich twee DJ’s die op de 23e hun opwachting maken. Surgeles en Muktar geven een voorproefje van wat te verwachten op Afdeling:Techno.

Besides organizing Tramme!and, it’s all about producing music:

The Dutchman has released tracks on Refune, Black Hole and EMI and has provided remixes for Sebastian Ingrosso, Hollis P Monroe, Röyksopp and is currently working on a first full length album.

Both Charles Davos and the Moondrive have performed at the Shoeless parties before and in the next two hours they will give you a foretaste of what’s coming on Sunday the 31st of july. Charles Davos recently played at the Fusion Festival at the “Grandler” at the Bachstelzen. When The Moondrive heard he could play on Ruigoord Festival he grabbed his gear at home and rocked the place that night.
