With 2011 literally at our doorstep, it’s time for this year’s last episode of Beats ‘n Peaces. We’d like to start off by saying we hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you all the best for the new year to come.

Usually there’s a featured guestmix every other episode and last episode contained a massive guestmix by George F (US), but since this is kind of a special episode we decided to again treat you on a huge guestmix! For this episode we’d like to pay some special attention to Johnstar’s latest release, the Tick Tock Track, which came forth on Toolroom’s Leaders Of The New School. Therefore it only seems fit to in this episode bring you an amazing guestmix from Toolroom Knights global resident, rising star and true ‘Leader Of The New School’, Mark Storie (UK).

Mark Storie is a name to watch out for. Making regular trips across the UK and abroad, his energetic and enthusiastic dj sets are rapidly becoming known within the club scene. The last few years have been great for Mark Storie with releases like Technostomp and Ker Plunk doing extremely well in the charts and reviews. For this occasion Mark Storie has laid down an ice-cold, extremely cool mix for you guys that really goes to show what’s hot right now!! You’ll find it in the second half of this episode.

The first half of this Beats ‘n Peaces episode is all about Johnstar’s beats ‘n peaces, and off course features his Tick Tock Track:

Previously featuring on Fedde le Grand’s ‘Toolroom Knights’ mix album, Johnstar & MC Spyder’s infectious ‘Tick Tock Track’ gets a full release with some stonking mixes courtesy of George F & Tekkman and Johnstar himself.

Johnstar’s grooving bassline together with MC Spyder’s intoxicating voice, make the original into an infectious feel-good dance floor anthem that’s set to make your body tick tock right round the clock… Next to the extremely catchy original, Johnstar also created a dub version of the Tick Tock Track that’s a little heavier, funkier, deeper…well pretty much a little bit more of everything! With this Headnod dub Johnstar really outdid himself. So taking into consideration the massive support he received on the earlier projects in his Headnod series, this one is definitely gonna raise a dust!

With huge remixes from George F & Tekkman and Julian Sennels & Ben Bastion this package is ready to explode.
