This Saturday the world’s biggest Trance event, Trance-Energy, will take place at the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, Netherlands. Trance Energy will be held in four areas, each with its own character and style, introducing a whole new generation of acts never heard before in the Jaarbeurs. We wouldn’t be Dance-Tunes Radio if we didn’t broadcast this event this Saturday.
The fans that unfortunately can’t experience Trance Energy ‘live’, now have the option to listen to the event, here on Dance-Tunes Radio. April 3rd shows an absolute Trance Energy premiere in offering live streams of the event brought to you by us. The sets will be live at Trance-Energy.com, Dance-Tunes Radio and Trance.nu, the latter focussing on the artist of the Trance.nu Future Stage.
As usual, the presentation will be in the trustworthy hands of Dance-Tunes resident, Jeff E.
We will be present on Facebook & Twitter all night to provide you with information, updates and photos of the live broadcast of Trance-Energy 2010. Ofcourse we will also be here, on Dance-Tunes Radio. You can place your comments here.

Armin Van Buuren isn’t on the Line-Up for Trance-Energy this year. As a ‘Gift’ Armin and ID&T decided to do a 20 min appearance through satellite. Armin is in New York at the time of Trance-Energy. He’ll be giving away a 20 min show directly through satellite, and we are going to broadcast this

Shame on you all posters. Why you’re not happy that something would be broadcastet. Nobody can make everyone happy with a Timetable. So enjoy the ones who would be broadcastet and make party home or drive next time directly to Trance Energy.

You should be broadcasting in higher quality than 96kbps. At LEAST 128kbps, preferably 192kbps.

A&B and Tyas/Patterson probably asked for their sets not to be broadcasted so that they can play exclusive material
@1erika – if the bitrate were to be doubled that would half the amount of listeners that could tune in, how many people do you think are sat listening to this right now?
They should have made two sources then. 96 and 192kbps.
Yep, second 128 or 196kbps stream specially for live broadcasts from party events would be great. It’s ok to have low quality when streaming separate tracks on radio, but for live sets current quality is not so good
I think the problem is the traffic.
if 500 User would listen to a 192kbs stream. You have a traffic of 345600000 kb per hour. That’s nearly 330 GB per hour. And after 9 hours you have nearly 3TB Traffic.
I say be respectful for what you get I am glad that I am able to listen to this forget about the quality I was supposed to be here but not able to make it as I am a skint student otherwise I would be there but always next year!
